God Eater 2 Rage Burst is the sequel to the game God Eater 2 which was released in 2013. Rage Burst was released in February 19th, 2015, and, like God Eater Burst, it's a standalone expansion that builds on the previous game while containing the content of the original as well. Rage Burst has been released for PS VITA and PS4, both in Japanese and Traditional Chinese release.
The story of God Eater 2 is still playable in the game, and it also shows the continuation of the fate of Julius Visconti and the other members of Blood, including Romeo. The Protagonist, the acting leader of Blood, is called in due to the sudden expansion of the Helix Tree, and is sent to investigate with the help of a new character, Livie, a Variant Scythe user who is taken on a regular basis to hunt turned God Eaters, and is strangely able to wield Julius' and Romeo's God Arcs as well. Returning characters shown include Soma, Sakaki, Fran, and a new Fenrir Far East Branch director Isaac Feldman is introduced. Although no signs of Julius have been detected in the Helix Tree at first, Livie implies there is reason to believe he is alive. In the depths, the protagonist and Livie are shown to encounter the new Aragami, Chrome Gawain. In a defending segment, a new variant of the Zygote is shown, which is named as Silky. The Protagonist can exclusively use the power of Blood Rage, and does so while inside the Helix using some voiced line. Julius is shown fighting a colorless Caligula barefisted and as the battle progresses, used the Caligula's blades as a weapon and medium for his blood art.

New Skill SystemIn Rage Burst, the skill system has seen a major facelift! Up until the original God Eater 2, skill effects could be garnered by equipping God Arc parts or Upgrades that had them attached, but now skills also have a levelling system attached to them. This system comes in two broad flavors, which can be described as: Skills that get stronger as their levels increase. Skills that activate once their level hits a certain threshold. All skills in the game have been reorganized in accordance with this new system. A good example of the first type of skill is “Health.” Whereas in previous games, skills that raised HP were divided into small, medium, and large tiers, now, they’re all combined into one general Health skill that more organically raises HP as the skill itself levels up. This means that effects that were originally attributed to the skill Health ↑ L, for instance, now kicks in when the Health skill is at level 6. (With Health, HP is raised by 5 points every time the level increases.) Meanwhile, skills that imbue players with special abilities such as Sword Master and Trigger Happy now fall under the second type, whereby getting them to a specific level is what allows them to be triggered. Additionally, should multiple skills of the same family be equipped, their levels can be combined. For example, say that two different parts both have Health Lv. 5 equipped to them. Together, those skills will combine, bestowing players with the effects of Health Lv. 10. This is contrast to how skill redundancies where previously handled, where additional effects weren’t granted. However, there still remains an upper limit as to how far skill redundancies can be exploited. When used in tandem with the God Arcs that can be earned after missions, as well as the new Skill Install system, players will have everything they need to make their weapons the best that they can be! New Uniforms for Blood UnitRage Burst features new uniform designs for the member of Blood Unit! As one might expect, these can be swapped out freely with the original uniforms at the player’s discretion. Changes to the Original God Eater 2 Portion New Story Elements During the main storyline, players can now receive emails from characters in the game as they make their way through the game that will provide deeper insight into what they’re thinking and feeling. Naturally, this feature is also present during the Rage Burst-specific story portions as well. New Cutscenes and Missions Major story beats that were present in the original God Eater 2 will see new content in the form of added missions and cutscenes, providing that much more depth to parse through for the plot. Transfer Save Data from God Eater 2More details about the nature of this transfer will be forthcoming at a later time. However, we wanted to take the time to briefly address which versions of God Eater 2 save data can be transferred to which platforms for God Eater 2: Rage Burst. Put simply, save data from the PS Vita version of the game is able to imported into either the PS Vita version of Rage Burst or the PS4 version. However, save data from the PSP version can only be imported into the PS Vita version of Rage Burst. Beyond that, save data for Rage Burst itself can be used interchangeably between the PS4 and PS Vita versions. Acho que exageraram no tamanho da foice Aguardando o anúncio ocidental, dei uma olhada nos comentários do GE2 e a maioria era positiva, que o jogo era bem melhor que o GE original.
